Castle Details: The crest is the Disney family crest. Just above that is a cross, just above the cross in the grill work is a cursive uppercase capital D, look really carefully and you can make the D out vs. the other gilded grillwork.

Enchanted Tiki Room Flower: Look at the “tongue” of this mechanical flower, it the shape of a heart. Claudia also let us work the flower so it “speaks”, let us operate it. Walt spent his own personal money to build this attraction, for years there was an extra 75-cents admission charged to see it, proceeds went to paying Walt back. That is why you see signage and titling “Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room”.

Club 33 is a private members club to dine, do business entertaining, and drink at the only place in Disneyland where alcohol is allowed. A friend of ours put in for membership a decade ago and recently they sent her info that she could join because it became her turn to be at the top of the membership wannabe waiting list after that long. The cost of annual dues is $10,000. After paying your dues annually, once inside Club 33 you pay additionally for your meals and beverages. It is far cheaper to stand outside the door during The Year of a Million Dreams and “dream on”. 😉 No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream in your heart will come true. To afford the Club 33 membership dues, maybe dream you can win multi-state Powerball. 😉

About the Disney Echo

This website is not affiliated with any part of The Walt Disney Company.

The Disney Echo at DisneyEcho.emuck.com is your interactive online magazine to discover new wonders and share magical Disney memories.

The display on this page is set up to show the posts in reverse chronological order of when they were posted originally, so if you want to read the reports from the beginning, go to the last post on the last page and work forward. The first entry about the Koster family's July 2008 Disneyland trip can be found by clicking here and the first entry about their Easter 2008 Disneyland trip can be found by selecting this link.

That link goes to the very first travel-related article on this website: Welcome to our Trip Report.

The entry made after that first one is found after clicking the link named "Our Vacation Plans At-A-Glance" and that link is found above and below the first entry.

The third entry is similarly found after clicking the link above and below the second one, where the link is named "Packing Up"

One can read all the travel-related entries in the order they were posted by going to the next entry and the next entry the same way. Otherwise, this website defaults to displaying the most-recently-posted entries followed by older entries below it on the page as well as on the pages after it.
