There’s a large, new Apple Store being constructed near the El Capitan Theatre. With WALL•E playing in that theater this summer, that’s Disney-Pixar-Apple synergy going on! And with the Jimmy Kimmel Show broadcast from a studio right next to the El Capitan Theatre, add ABC-TV synergy to the mix as well!

The Hollywood and Highland Center’s parking garage is right across the street from Disney’s El Capitan Theatre and the ice cream parlor. We used our iPhones to make note of where we parked our rental car. Hey, look! Even the license plate is Disney-themed, with “ABC” on it!
We saw many billboards including this one featuring Prince Caspian promoting the Narnia sequel.
It’s 2 fer time at Disneyland! We got 2 days free admission to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure by buying 3 days of tickets. That promotion isn’t still going on now that it is summer, but it sure helped us save money during Easter week.
Michael Broggie was even kind enough to escort us to the correct exit we needed to take to get to Hollywood from the park, as well as giving us complete directions! He is such a nice man.
That’s the Disney Channel building in the middle of the picture. We’re following Michael’s van on the right as he shows us the correct exit. The route we took after getting off the freeway had us going on a street through a mountain pass that years ago was used by stage coaches!
Now it’s time to say goodbye to Michael Broggie… M-I-C… Seeya real soon!
Our son helped by handing Michael the lock. Carol helped by documenting that we were leaving the place nice and secure. It was our first bit of volunteering at Walt’s barn by us as members of the Carolwood Pacific Society. We had just joined that day.
Michael Broggie and I close up Walt’s barn in this photograph taken by Carol.
